…..Urges Preparation for Greater Responsibilities

The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has called on political appointees and members of staff serving under his administration to deliberately prepare themselves for greater responsibilities through humility, diligence, discipline and effective service delivery.
Addressing a high level strategic meeting at the Chairman’s Lodge, Ogwashi Uku, on Thursday, Hon. Chukwunwike emphasized that the future belongs to individuals who consistently distinguish themselves through commitment, competence and exemplary conduct in public service.
He urged members of his cabinet and the workforce to remain worthy ambassadors of the council by projecting the image of the local government in positive and productive ways wherever they find themselves.
According to him, punctuality, dedication to duty, innovation and continuous self improvement remain indispensable qualities for career advancement and leadership development.
The council chairman encouraged his appointees to reinvent their approach to governance, embrace greater responsibility and strategically position themselves for emerging opportunities. He noted that excellence in seemingly modest assignments often lays the foundation for higher responsibilities and leadership positions, stressing that faithful service at every level naturally attracts greater trust and more demanding assignments.
Hon. Chukwunwike cautioned against acts capable of undermining institutional cohesion, including in-fighting, backbiting and other divisive tendencies that are antithetical to progress, unity and sustainable development. He maintained that a harmonious working environment built on mutual respect and collective purpose remain essential to the successful implementation of government policies and programmes.
The Chairman also used the meeting to sensitize participants on the importance of civic responsibility and democratic participation. He urged them to intensify grassroots engagement by encouraging eligible citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the next electoral cycle.
He further charged the appointees to serve as effective canvassers of government policies by taking the message of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda to every community across Aniocha South. He stressed that sustained grassroots mobilization and effective communication of government achievements, programmes and policies would strengthen public confidence and contribute significantly to the electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in future elections.
While commending the appointees who have distinguished themselves through exceptional commitment and outstanding performance, Pastor Chukwunwike encouraged others whose performance remains average to raise their game. He emphasized that diligence, loyalty, productivity and unwavering commitment constitute the true credentials for advancement, noting that consistent performance remains the most reliable pathway to greater opportunities and higher responsibilities.
The highlights of the meeting was a unanimous vote of confidence passed on Hon. Chukwunwike by the appointees and staff, who commended his visionary leadership, inclusive style of governance and unwavering commitment to delivering on his electoral promises. They reaffirmed their confidence in his developmental blueprint and pledged their continued support towards the realization of his administration’s transformational agenda for Aniocha South Local Government Area.
