BOMADI – The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has congratulated Chief Barrister Funyei Manager on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress consensus candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Bomadi Constituency.
Manager was declared winner by Returning Officer Mr. E.K. Watchman during the APC House of Assembly primary held at Bomadi Town Hall on Tuesday.
He was the sole aspirant in the exercise.
Speaking at the event, Andaye described the outcome as a reflection of unity and mutual understanding among party leaders and stakeholders.
He commended APC members for maintaining harmony throughout the process.
State Chief Barry Gbe, APC South-South Legal Adviser Barrister New-world Safugha, and Engr. Francis Muturu also congratulated Manager, describing him as a loyal party man with the experience to represent the constituency.
Delta State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Kelly Penawou, praised the peaceful conduct of the primaries and urged members to remain united for the growth of the party.
In his remarks, Manager thanked party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women groups, and supporters for their confidence in him. He appealed to Bomadi residents to support the APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and all party candidates in the 2027 general elections, promising quality representation and development for the constituency.
