A Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) chieftain in Delta State, Chief Andrew Ogheneaga Orugbo has stated that it was a political misadventure for any PDP member to defect to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta State .
The former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Delta State stated this in a media chat with our correspondent shortly after a PDP meeting in Sedico , Enerhen Uvwie Local Government Area on Monday 23rd January, 2023 .
He stated that PDP members in the state that defected to APC left for a party that cannot win election in Delta State.
He insisted that the APC does not stand a chance against PDP in winning elections in the state
” Even with Ogboru and a united APC could not stand PDP in elections in Delta State.” He added.
Orugbo also stated that APC campaign rallies were comprised of hired crowd.
He assured that Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori will he improve on the achievements of Governor Okowa if elected as governor of Delta State based on his ‘ MORE ‘ agenda Speaking on the chances of the PDP Atiku/ Okowa he stated that the duo will emerged victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
” The North will not disappoint their son ( Alhaji Atiku ) .
” Those using Tinubu as a decoy will be disappointed.” he added
Orugbo further stated that Nigerians cannot trust governance of Nigeria in the hands of Tinubu .
He predicted that the Northern and Southern parts of Nigeria will massively cast their votes for the PDP Atiku/ Okowa ticket.
