A chiefain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief Andi Kayoma Osawota has assured that the Delta State Governoship Candidate , Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege will pay arears of Delta State Government pensioners without delay if elected into power.
He gave the assurance in a media interaction with news men at his Effurun residence in Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.
He bemoaned the plights of pensioners under the Delta State Government.” Most of them are languishing in hardship and some of them have died without receiving their pension Inspite of the fact that Delta State Government has more than enough funds to pay pensions up till date ” he added.
Osawota therefore urged Deltans to give the APC governoship candidate a bloc in the forthcoming general elections if they want their pension paid at as when due .
He revealed that Omo-Agege provided transformers in all communities in Delta State ,attracted a federal polytechnic , law school among other developments to Delta Central Senatorial District.
Osawota assured if elected as governor of Delta State, the APC governoship candidate will develop the entire state .
He therefore called on Deltans to vote for Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege and other APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections
