An Igbo Political Pressure Group, Ndigbo Political Ambassadors,NPA has promised to support Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
This was contained in a goodwill message on Governor Oborevwori recent Supreme Court victory on the case of forgery , signed by leadership of the group , Chief Michael Eze , Nze Francis Onuara and Dr Ogbonnaya Igwe ( former EA , SSA and SA to former Governor Okowa on Community Development respectively ) issued in Warri made available to newsmen at the weekend.
The statement noted that the Supreme Court victory was a victory for the oppressed just as the statement prayed that Governor Oborevwori should continue to overcome his detractors.
NPA stated that it was proud to have worked for Governor Oborevwori during the electioneering period .
The statement explained further that NPA supported Governor Oborevwori because he was the choice of former Governor Okowa and for his laudable achievements as the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly for 6 years .
” The appointments made so far by His Excellency Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori is an indication that he will take Delta State to greater heights “, the statement added.
While congratulating Governor Oborevwori on his successful inauguration, the statement appealed that the Igbos should be considered for appointments.
