Penawou Lauds Bomadi Council Chairman, Andaye Over Projects Execution

The Delta State commissioner Directorate of local Government Affairs , Prince  Kelly Penawou, has commended the executive chairman of  Bomadi local government area, Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye for executing laudable Projects with direct impact on the lives of Bomadi people .
Prince  Penawou made the commendation on Monday, during the Directorate of Local Government Affairs’ project monitoring and inspection visit to Bomadi, headquarters of Bomadi local government area of Delta State.

The commissioner while inspecting the projects expressed happiness over the numbers of projects been executed by the Bomadi local government chairman,Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye within four months as chairman of the council, describing his  stewardship as among the best he has seen during his inspection and monitoring tour to the various local government areas visited so far .
Projects inspected by the state  commissioner Directorate of local Government Affairs 
include the Residential Building for Vice Chairman, Model Chapel building at Council Secretariat,
1,000 capacity Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-modern Multi-purpose Event Centre,  ongoing construction of concrete pavement at Council Secretariat
and completed residential building for high court judge.
Others included the ongoing rehabilitation of the High Court chambers/complex, the rehabilitated Pavilion at Council Secretariat,accountant’s office block, ongoing construction of Internal Auditor’s block
ongoing High Court access road, Residential quarters for council’s principal officers,amongst others 
 At the end of the project inspection tour, Prince Penawou called on the people of Bomadi  to continue to pray for the Council chairman for him to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to them, describing him as God sent .
He recalled that he had prayed for Hon Andaye to surpassed his achievements  when he was Bomadi local Government chairman ,adding that barely four months in office God has answered that prayer.
“Hon. Dagidi Andaye has done very well so I urge Bomadians to give him all the support he needs to embark on more projects ” Prince Penawou stated.
 In an interview the the Director planning, research and statistics, Mr Paul Oyeye, Directorate of Local Government Affairs, Mrs Priscilla Enyeregba,  and the Director of local government affairs, Mrs Benedicta Emasegbe, commended the Bomadi Council Chairman for the laudable Projects,stressing that he has executed more meaningful projects compared to other local government councils visited.
Earlier the Bomadi local Government chairman,Hon  Rawlings Dagidi Andaye while welcoming the commissioner  Directorate of local Government Affairs , Prince Kelly Penawou and his project monitoring team to Bomadi local government council,stated that he would continue to build on the legacy of  Hon Penawou when he was the council chairman.
He revealed that his administration has transformed the narrative of the local government within four months with mega projects through the reinforcement of the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Hon Andaye informed the commissioner that apart from the ongoing projects embarked by the council aimed at providing basic amenities to improve the quality of  life of the people ,he has prioritize staff welfare, provided monthly stipend to over 400 elderly women , Empowerment through skills acquisition programme for youths ,empowerment to the less privileged and people with disabilities amongst others.

He also informed the commissioner that the council has facilitated the connection of Bomadi local government area to the National Grid and replaced  faulty transformers in the areas , stressing that soon the Bomadi will experience public power supply after many years of blackout .
Also Speaking , the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Bomadi local government area, Hon. Keneke Godbless, commended Hon. Dagidi Andaye for executing developmental projects in the area and solicited for more support from the people of Bomadi to enable the council chairman attract more development to the area .
