Rotarian Friday Udumebraye Togbe has been installed as the 13th President of Rotary Club of Effurun GRA under Rotary International District 9141 with a vision to provide solar-powered water systems for communities under the club’s mandate areas.
The installation of Rotarian Friday Togbe was held at Chevron staff club Edjeba, Warri South local government area of Delta State.

The installation ceremony of Rotarian Friday Udumebraye Togbe was attended by the District 9141 Governor Rotarian Anthony Woghiren represented by Assistant District Governor, Rotarian Osaro Igbinaduwa
Rotarians ,friends of Rotary Club of Effurun GRA, family members,Legal Practitioners amongst others.
Rotarian Togbe disclosed that the club has budgeted the sum of thirty-five Million naira for community service projects for the 2025/2026 Rotary year .
Rotarian Togbe ( Esq ) shortly after he was installed during the colorful investiture ceremony appealed for financial support from members and friends of the club inorder to actualize the club’s vision to create lasting changes in their mandated communities during his tenure .
He listed some of the key projects that the club budgeted the sum of thirty-Five million to execute to include water projects ,empowering individuals with soft loans without interest to start up small scale business , food and medical support, provision of education materials, Sanitation donation to Rotary foundation, Peace building amongst others .
Rotarian Togbe emphasised on provision of drinkable water, revealing that it is the star project for the club ,adding that the project aligns with the District 9141 PET Project for the year which is Water for all. “We will provide solar-powered water systems for communities under our mandate areas.” Rotarian Friday Togbe revealed .
While thanking all members of the club for their selfless service to humanity , Rotarian Togbe urged them to continue to unite for good and make him succeed during his tenure .
He also appealed to other Rotarians and friends of the club to donate generously to enable the club execute the community service projects for the year.
Earlier the Immediate Past President of the Club, Rotarian Linus Albert while performing the symbolic transfer of leadership to the newly installed President, Rotarian Togbe disclosed that during his tenure the club executed projects in line with Rotary international seven areas of focus.
He further disclosed that the club embarked on it star project which was the Renovation and equipping of Urhobo college Effurun physics and chemistry science laboratories that cost the club Five million seven hundred thousand naira,adding that the project was in partnership with District 9141 that gave the club grants.
He thanked members of the club for supporting him during his tenure and urged them to give more support to the newly installed President.
