The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Dr. Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe1, JP, OON, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Felix Mujakperuo, Major General (Rtd), Orhue I, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, on the occasion of his 20th Coronation Anniversary.
In a congratulatory message on Wednesday July 29, 2026, the Uvwie monarch described the 20 years reign of the Orodje of Okpe as a testament to visionary leadership, wisdom, and dedication to peace and progress.
“Two decades on the revered throne of your ancestors have been a remarkable testament to your visionary leadership, wisdom, and unyielding dedication to the peace and progress of Okpe Kingdom, the Urhobo nation, and Delta State as a whole,” he stated.
HRM Sideso noted that the reign of the Orodje has brought immense pride, unity, and dignity to the traditional institution in Delta State.
He added that as neighbors, brothers, and custodians of shared heritage, the Uvwie Kingdom rejoices with the Okpe nation on the milestone.
The Ovie of Uvwie prayed to Almighty God and the ancestors to grant the Orodje divine health, long life, and greater wisdom to lead his people to greater prosperity.
“Umogu! Umogu!! Umogu!!! Long live the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom! Long live the bond between Okpe and Uvwie Kingdoms!” he concluded.
The 20th Coronation Anniversary of the Orodje of Okpe is being celebrated today across Okpe Kingdom and beyond.
