An Emonu – Orogun Group known as Emonu Renaissance Pressure Group has declared its full support for Delta State All Progressive Congress ,APC Governoship candidate , Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege and other candidates of the party.
The group made the declaration to vote for all APC candidates in the ancient Orogun community of Emonu last weekend.
The president of the group , Monday Akpobasa ( JP ) an engineer, spoke to newsmen shortly after the rally .
He explained that the group ‘ s support for the Delta APC governorship candidate and the party was due to his laudable achievements so far particularly in Delta Central Senatorial District.
Akpobasa listed the establishments of the Federal Polytechnic, Law School, Military School, provision of transformers in all communities in Delta Central among others as some of the laudable achievements of the Delta State APC governoship candidate in the senatorial district so far.
” We believe that if elected as governor of Delta State, he will develop the entire state.
” Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege is tested and trusted ” he added.
The Resource Head of the group Joseph Ugbejevun who spoke in the same vein also affirmed the support of Ovie Omo-Agege and other candidates of the APC.
He assured that the group will support candidates that emerged in any position in APC .
Joseph however strongly advised all others APC candidates to have the interest of Emonu Orogun in their manifestos “
They should emulate Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege ” he advised.
Joseph then listed some of the basic needs of the community to include : empowerment of youths and women , skill acquisition programs , Ultra modern town hall, functioning solar energy powered street lights among others.
