The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council and Deputy Chairman South of the Progressive Local Government Council Chairmen Forum, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has reaffirmed the commitment of APC council chairmen to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Andaye made the pledge on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, during a courtesy visit by the Forum to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, and members of the National Working Committee, NWC, at the party’s National secretariat in Abuja.
The delegation was led by the National Chairman of the Forum, Dr. Mustapha Jibrin Alheri, Executive Chairman of Minna Local Government Area, Niger State.
Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Andaye commended Prof. Goshwe for his visionary leadership and assured the party leadership of the Forum’s unalloyed loyalty and support.
He said the Progressive Council Chairmen would continue to mobilize at the grassroots to ensure resounding victories for President Tinubu, APC governors, and all party candidates in 2027.
The Forum also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for what it described as bold reforms and people-oriented policies under the _Renewed Hope Agenda_. It noted that the administration’s initiatives are laying a solid foundation for national development and pledged to complement federal efforts by delivering impactful governance at the council level.
In his response, the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, commended the Forum for its unity and dedication to the growth of the party. He charged the council chairmen to take the _Renewed Hope_ message to every community, stressing that local governments remain the closest tier of government to the people.
Prof. Goshwe added that council chairmen play a critical role in translating the party’s vision into tangible benefits for the masses.
The visit underscored the strategic role of local government leadership in strengthening the APC ahead of 2027 and in consolidating the party’s political dominance nationwide.
Hon. Andaye’s emergence as Deputy Chairman South of the Forum was also described as a testament to his outstanding leadership and commitment to grassroots development, which has projected Bomadi Local Government onto the national stage.
