Frontline female politician in Ughelli South Local Government Area , Olorogun ( Hon ) Eunice Daji Okoh has stated that her defection to the All Progressive Congress APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) will afford her the opportunity to serve her people.
The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) aspirant for Ughelli / Udu Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly stated this why fielding questions from newsmen on why she defected from PDP to APC during the APC rally at Imode in Ughelli South Local Government Area on Tuesday 10th January, 2023
Okoh who is a former Vice Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Council reasoned that politics was one of the best ways to serve the people .
Okoh who is also the Treasurer of Urhobo Progress Union( UPU) Worldwide stated that she has been deprived of serving her people and that her people had been desirous for her services.
” So I can tell you that the people are happy about my decision ” She added.
Okoh promised to put in her best to the growth and development of APC in the local government area, Delta State and Nigeria.
She had earlier formally announced her defection with her teaming supporters to APC at the event.
