The women’s conference of St. Stephen’s Church concluded on a note of thanksgiving, with participants urged to place their trust in God for provision, protection, and guidance.
Speaking at the closing, Mrs. Odiri Benedicta Ejemrae said God remained sufficient for all needs. Citing Psalm 23, she declared, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,” and prayed that members would not seek help from any other source.
Mrs. Ejemrae expressed appreciation to God for the opportunity to host the conference and thanked the women of St. Stephen’s and the entire church for their support. She commended the conference committee led by Mrs. Okunbor Dorah for their work in ensuring the success of the event.
She also acknowledged the contributions of Engr. and Mrs. Omajajah for their annual support, including the purchase of diocesan projector clothes for St. Stephen’s Women, and thanked Mrs. Christy Agare for providing firewood for the conference.
Appreciation was extended to the church’s priest, Rev. Daniel Imini, and chaplain, Rev. Ejiroghene Ekujuvwevwo, along with their wives, for their support. Mrs. Ejemrae further thanked her husband, Ven. Friday Oghenenyerhovwo Ejemrae, for his continuous backing of the women’s activities.
